Rising Country artist Emily Miller has released a music video for her cover of the 1989 Alannah Myles hit “Black Velvet.” The video was filmed at Stormlight Picture Studio in Nashville with director Logan Christopher. Guitar and vocals were provided by Nick Champeau. The video with the well known sultry tune is available to watch now on her official artist YouTube channel at https://youtu.be/HaTGqHmEsWE 

Emily often was told the the song “Black Velvet” would sound great in her voice, but she wasn’t familiar with the song. One day a friend asked her to learn the song for him and she ended up falling in love with it. After finding out the song was about Elvis Presley, it allowed her to connect with the song on another level and bring out a different side of her performance and vocals. Now she never turns down an opportunity to sing it. With the music video, it was Emily’s goal to have an 80s feel, from the outfit to the set background, and she believes they did just that.

“It was great working with Logan and the entire team at Stormlight Pictures again,” exclaimed Emily Miller. “We first worked together in the making of my first music video for ‘Take the Trash Out’ and I love seeing his creative visions come to life each time. I trust his visions and just let him do his thing much like he has always let me do mine,” she added.

Gary Pratt is a singer, a songwriter, and most of all, an energetic country entertainer, who connects with his audience. He grew up in the small, old coal mining town of Slickville, Pennsylvania. In addition to being the front man for several local bands in the Pittsburgh area, he has had the experience of hitting the Nashville club and showcase scene. Yona Marie’s new single “I'm Still Loyal” is a dedication to those who have provided their friends, family members, or romantic partners with unyielding love and loyalty over time. Yona has created an anthem that anyone that has given or received authentic love will be able to relate to and remind themselves of how much a blessing having a loyal person in your corner can be. To her surprise, a lot of sites  she found through google were giving her thin, outdated, or sometimes plain wrong information. However, she couldn't believe there was so much helpful content that the music niche was lacking. 

Yona had experience with content writing for several brands in the past, so she decided she wanted to take her skills and create a new brand for herself. With her website, she would create hundreds of blogs that give free informational content to musicians like her who need facts, advice, and ideas that would help further their efforts in their musical journey.

Or Golan has been stuttering since the age of 3 as well as diagnosed with FMF a form of arthritis that causes pain from prolonged exertion. He has always loved creating things from scratch. As a writer ,Or has written four books in Hebrew: "The Girl with the Purple Hair", "Three Minutes of Fame", "Twice an Inverted Coffee" and "Bird Lake". He struggled with love and support. Using that feeling, he channels into it, and little by little develops to be successful. From an anonymous artist to an artist with a resume of almost 200 melodies known all over the world... this is his story.

After his military service, from which he also left because he had undergone mental traumas, to this day the need to create something from scratch, from nothing, in space, burns in Or Golan. For a long time, he thought about what to do and one fine day the idea came up to create music. Or Golan still did not know how to create music. He does everything from listening to the melodies he had in his mind. Music came to him like magic from God and the problem was how to market himself to the big world. He knew that in Israel, they would not accept him and his music, Or Golan is a very spiritual person, he feels things before they happen.

So Or Golan learned every day all day how to market himself (something he never knew in life) and as a stutterer, it was impossible, but as fate would have it, God decides that now is his time. Through tribulations he did not give up. The melodies flowed like a river, the dam was breached, and luck lit up. In 2021 the first album is released to the world. Or Golan knew that the music he was supposed to create was electronic. Inspired and motivated, Or Golan released three full albums: Superstar Baby, Dance of Love and Dahabha Everything went smoothly without stopping. After that, two more full albums came out and Or Golan's direction for success was clear as the sun shines every morning.

On the business and marketing side, Or Golan arranged an article for himself in the local newspaper and built a community on his old Instagram for people from all over the world who heard his songs. With time my songs grew in people's hearts.
Two months have passed and Or Golan is releasing singles every day a new song and sometimes two songs a day to take advantage of the momentum he had. So far life has seemed to have all the stars arranged in the right order and Or Golan has released with perfect timing the two singles that will bring him his great success called I Am Greedy and Open Minded.

The marketing trick in "I am Greedy" was to put all his energy into this song because Or Golan knew he had a winning card, he had a feeling it was his song that would break his name around the world. Some of the people already knew Or Golan, but now that he has the winning card, he can fly to heaven.

Each song has two rights, one on the melody and the other on the whole song. These rights are worth gold in Golan's opinion.
Or Golan revealed that now that he has more than a hundred songs on his resume, it is time to join an association that will protect his rights and give him royalties like everyone else. Or signed with the monopoly ACUM in Israel. ACUM is like ASCAP and BMI is just simple in Israel. We are in September and the deal was signed with Or Golan on the upper hand and he decides whether to give his rights and how. Time passes, Or Golan has close to 200 songs, a great success, the old songs are doing well and traveling the world thanks to the song "I am Greedy" and "An Open Mind". Or Golan knows that timing is everything in life, so it's a good time to get off the gas and let the waves of success continue until he does everything from scratch. Golan was much more involved during this period in radio broadcasts on music stations around the world.

A total of 70 countries (according to SOUNDROP reports) has sold a little over 205,000 copies of his songs. Awesome achievement for a newcomer.

In December, a CD release party at one of the Southeast's premier country night clubs, Coyote Joes in Charlotte, NC, helped spark his self-written single “Tonight”, a song that gained radio airplay. John O’Brien, also known as “J.O.B.E.”  is a Performer, Recording Artist and Songwriter who has been passionately creating music and performing for audiences for more than four decades. He has released seven albums to date and he is releasing a new original album in May to lead off his July 2022 six city concert tour in the UK.

There is a quest to get Fred Rogers inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. GRAMMY® and Emmy winning music producer Dennis Scott and Emmy® award winning American TV Personality Tom Bergeron (America’s Funniest Videos, Dancing with the Stars) have together called for Mister Rogers to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. By way of a Change.org petition which has now amassed more than 2,154 signatures to date, they are calling on Mister Rogers fans everywhere tosign the petition.

​Dennis Scott is leading the effort, and was recently featured by News Channel 5 in Nashville, and News Channel 3 in Memphis for his work on preserving the musical legacy of Fred Rogers. He is also set to appear with Actor David Newell (aka Mister McFeely) on the newest episode of nationally syndicated TV show, Nashville Insider, which begins airing the week of March 21.
“There is still plenty of interest in the life and work of Fred Rogers. Over the last few years the world has collectively agreed that we need more Fred Rogers,” said Scott. “This is due in part to the Won't You Be My Neighbor? documentary, Tom Hanks' A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood film, and even my own two tribute albums Thank You, Mister Rogers: Music & Memories (2019) and Songs From The Neighborhood - The Music of Mister Rogers (2005).”

Tom Bergeron has also called for Fred Rogers to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, asking "If songs are meant to move you, comfort you, and enlighten you, then how has Fred Rogers not been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame already?"

David Newell also called for his former friend and fellow actor to be bestowed top songwriters honors.

“Fred Rogers composed over 200 songs, not only for his television program but also for CD’s, record albums, and video - songs that are part of the soundtrack of our lives,” said Newell. “That’s why so many people believe that Mister Rogers belongs in The Songwriters Hall of Fame. If I know Fred Rogers, this honor would mean the world to him because it’s a recognition of his music.”

Multiple GRAMMY® & Dove award winning singer Sandi Patty also supports the call for Fred’s Songwriters Hall of Fame induction, saying "Because there was such an understated nature about Mister Rogers we forget that he was an incredible musician, piano player, and songwriter. He has written so many great songs and I want to be one of the many to say that he ought to be in the Songwriters Hall of Fame. That’s something we can do for him. He’s done so much for us.”

“After producing two albums featuring Fred Rogers’ music I have developed a deep appreciation for his songwriting skills,” said Scott. “If you look closely at his tunes you can see what a lyrical craftsman he was. And his choice of chords are more complex than one might expect to hear in any “children’s” song. That’s the magic of Mister Rogers. He never talked down to kids - musically or otherwise. His songs have messages for all ages and his composing is as sophisticated as many of our great American writers. There’s no doubt in my mind that he belongs in The Songwriters Hall of Fame.”
