ABOUT YONA

Yona Marie’s new single “I'm Still Loyal” is a dedication to those who have provided their friends, family members, or romantic partners with unyielding love and loyalty over time. Yona has created an anthem that anyone that has given or received authentic love will be able to relate to and remind themselves of how much a blessing having a loyal person in your corner can be. The simplistic writing and production with early 2010 hip-hop vibes feed into the feeling of love and loyalty between souls that have been connected over the last several years.

​Yona did sporadic work for producers and artists as far back as 2009.  She officially started her session singing (studio singing) work-for-hire gigs in 2018. This exciting career journey brought her many new relationships, connections, and creative projects that sometimes were out of her scope of knowledge. She found  herself engaging in research in the world of singing, writing, promoting, music business, and artist development topics. 

To her surprise, a lot of sites  she found through google were giving her thin, outdated, or sometimes plain wrong information. With extra effort and other resources like video and book content, she was able to find mostly all the answers to her questions. However, she couldn't believe there was so much helpful content that the music niche was lacking. 

Yona had experience with content writing for several brands in the past, so she decided she wanted to take her skills and create a new brand for herself. With her website, she would create hundreds of blogs that give free informational content to musicians like her who need facts, advice, and ideas that would help further their efforts in their musical journey. 

Yona wanted to take it a step further and allow current and potential song clients to be able to reach her easily here. She does most of her studio work through freelance sites, but creating a space for her clients to build and collaborate specifically to the project needs has been very beneficial. 

Last but not least, Yona wanted people who enjoy her personal music releases to be able to connect with her easily find all of the songs that she's written and published as Yona Marie and as Rachel Marie.
