As happens in many families, loved ones think that is just Joey or Mary being Mary. In this case and for this story line,  Olivia and others in the Quartermaine mansion were thinking, "that is just Leo being Leo."  

When Austin spoke to Ned alone, Ned said he had wondered about Leo's quietness and his withdrawal from family life and activities. He said Olivia thinks of Leo as shy.  So many families think their children are shy until they are forced to face the fact that what is going on with their child is  much more than shyness.

Last week Sharon seemed to want to consider another go round with Nick. This week she is showing obvious jealously about Adam and Sally.  If looks could kill in this scene, Sally would be one dead chick. 

Adam enjoyed the cat and mouse came they played in this scene. He claimed he had no time for romance and or complicated women.  The facts are that Adam seems to thrive and enjoys spending time with complicated women. 

It seems like she loves her husband but he shares her love with others. Who do you think is Sharon's all time favorite?  Should she stay with Rey or is it time to cut him loose so he can find a women that will love him and only him? 

Julie must admit to herself that there is something wrong with Doug on Days. Doug is having issues with memory two days in a row. This does seem like sudden onset unless there have been other signs that Julie has been ignoring. 

Doug's daughter Hope is away. Will her fathers illness bring her back to Salem. Hey, wait a minute, Hope left Salem to find Ciara. Ciara is not only found, she got engaged to another guy, went to South Africa, came back from South Africa and got remarried to her husband. Where is her mother, the mother who left to find her? How can nobody in Salem think that is not weird. If Kristian Alfonso doesn't want to come back, they should recast.  Doug is going to need his daughter.  

This real life married couple is going to spend the last months of Doug's time on the show doing this sad, sad storyline, that may just turn out to be the best work of his long and storied career. Are you looking forward to this heart breaking Alzheimer Disease story line? 

Quinn must be thinking "Has my Husband Lost his Mind?" Why would someone's husband call her ex-lover to the house and then discuss the fact that he (the husband) has erectile dysfunction.  Then in the next breath say his issue should not prevent his wife from having sex. 

Do you, the viewer think that Eric is going to ask Carter to sexually satisfy his wife?  If he does, should Carter comply?  How weird is this going to get and how can the actors do these scenes with straight faces? 

MAURICE AND LAURA together again on Maurice's State of Mind.  Laura talks to Maurice about depression.  She tells him she was on Zoloft for a while. She tells her experience how in 2014 she needed help for depression. Seeing them as they really are is very enlightening. 

Maurice talks about levels of child abuse and labels. This episode is a must watch for any GH fan.  Laura talks about losing her parents two years ago. 

ASHLAND'S PAST IS CATCHING UP TO HIM or at least it really does seem to be. The man who seems to have always been the captain of his own ship, the ruler of his destiny is having issues. First this cancer diagnosis and now a person from his past is shadowing him. 

So let's take a look at the mysterious Ashland Locke.  He seems to have materialized from nowhere and nothing.  Billy and Victor's Private Investigators cannot find anything on this man prior to his 20th year.  

What is perfectly obvious to Back Stage Pass News is Ashland Locke is a name this man gave himself. It is not his birthname. It is also obvious that he came from less than stellar means. 

Did Ashland sleep his way to the top and did he do it with one of the Grand Dames of Genoa City?  You know everybody is talking about the fact that the rich women could have been Katherine or Dina.  Let's throw another name into the hat.  How about Jill?  What if Ashland had an affair with Jill and Ashland is actually Billy's half brother?  What about Gloria?  Will Michael and Kevin have a new brother? Do you remember the flash drive that Gloria had and was hiding it?  Remember she said she was protecting somebody or something?  Will that dropped storyline be revived?

Dear Young and Restless Viewers, where do you think this is going to land?  Comment below and we can revisit in a few weeks and see who was right. 

It has always been tough to ignore the chemistry and Nick and Sharon have with each other. The kind of chemistry that only 2 decades of working together since they were very young can provide. 

The great love has never been between Sharon and Adam. It has always been between Sharon and Nick. It has amazed us here at Back Stage Pass News how the writers have been trying to rewrite history to make us think that Sharon and Adam had something more than it actually was. 

Sharon and Nick were and have always been the great young love story on this soap. Nick and Sharon are the love of each others life. 

On top of that, Chelsea and Adam were actually a big love story. It was always weird that they put Chelsea with Nick.  We don't think Phyllis has had a great love of her life, not Nick, not Jack and not Billy.  Just good sex and part time love with a lot of scheming in between.  Phyllis might be Jack's great love but Jack is not that for Phyllis. There is only one person that Phyllis truly  loves and that is Phyllis.  She cares for a few others including her children when they are not interfering with what she wants to do in life. 

With all that being said, would you the viewer like to see a Sharon and Nick reunion? 

Was it the booze messing with Jack's judgement or did the booze just enable Jack to speak  his truth to Phyllis?  When she cheated on Jack with his brother, she really wanted to get back with her husband but he would have none of it.  Has he forgotten that shes couldn't stay away from his brother?  Has he lost his mind or is he just that lonely?  

Do you think that Phyllis will play head games with both Jack and Nick for the next few weeks?  Does Phyllis have real love for Jack or is it just friendship now? 

It is time to ask you the viewer if you want to see a Jack and Phyllis reunion? 

We are old enough to remember here at Back Stage Pass News the love story that was Carly and Jason.  It was sweet, at times tender and absolutely heart breaking when Carly cheated on Jason with Sonny.  Sarah Brown was the perfect Carly to the young Jason. 

Maybe our issues are more with accepting Laura Wright as Carly with an adult Steve Burton as Jason.? Does that make sense? 

The writers have the characters trying to re-write history in some ways and some ways the history they are recalling is absolutely spot on. We don't want to like Jason and Carly together romantically but today was touching.   

Here's a question for the viewer - did you feel  for them today?  Did the scene make you feel emotions?  We all know that Jason  has always come first for Carly and Carly has always come first for Jason. Even if the viewers want to pretend it is not true, 20 years of back story tell us it is.  

So what happens now when Sonny/Mike comes home?   Is there anybody that thinks Sonny is going to be the same person because he won't be. He really can't be. He has seen and lived a different life.  

Port Charlies is going to want to tar and feather Nina. I know some viewers that would like to do just that.  How is Phyllis going to feel when she finds out that Nina knew who Sonny was all along. The ripples of deception, hurt, pain and lies will spread out far and wide. 

The one thing we can all be sure about is that this is going to be one rough ride. Make sure to bring your tissues as this is going to be both painful and eventful.  ​

 So today Abby calls Devon in a frenzey claiming that Mariah has disappeared with the baby.  We can think about this in a few ways. 

1.   Mariah just got back from being kidnapped, being worried is natural;
2.   Stitch is still out there and he could come back;
3.   She plainly over reacted.  Mariah was not aware that Abby would be right back. 

So we have to ask this question, did you think Mariah was going to breast feed the baby when she couldn't get him to stop crying?

Should Abby ask Mariah and Tessa to move out so she can get into a schedule and new life with her baby? 

You could hear the applause across the country at this moment when Jax finally got to meet Nina's Mike.   So many are so very sick of this story line. Will Jax keep Nina 's secret or will he go ahead and tell Sonny that he is married with children and a mob boss in Port Charles, NY? 

The way Sonny is proclaiming his love for Nina is nauseating.  Who thinks that he is going to be pissed at her, go home and try to resume his life with Carly only to discover he can't forget about Nina?  

How loud do we have to yell to get THE WRITERS to drop the Mike and Nina story  line and the Carly and Jason story line and will Mike get back to Port Charles before Carly marries Jason? 

Abby walks in on Mariah humming the lullaby to Bowie/Dominic. She can see Mariah struggling with letting go of the baby. What she hasn't seen is Devon is doing the same thing.   We must explore the inevitable which the show might not explore now but will explore somewhere down the road.

We all are supposed to believe that Dominick is a result of Abby's eggs being fertilized by Devon's sperm.  Since Mariah is with Tessa, we are not to even comprehend Mariah being with a man.  What if her pregnancy was her own?  What if her pregnancy was truly her and Devon's? What is Mariah had a one night stand with someone else?  They were shooing her up with all kinds of harmones.  Who knows what really happened every minute of every day leading up to the pregnancy?  Just something to file away for later. 

For now at this moment of time, and as everyone is to believe, Dominick was created from Abby's egg and Devon's sperm.  That would make the baby biologically Abby's and Devon's.  We won't even talk about Chance right now. The fact the guy is not around for anyone of this and had left the FBI prior to marrying Abby, joined the local police force and then disappeared for over 9 month now.......well, we don't know any viewers that are okay with all of that. They can either recast this guy or kill him off. I don't think any viewers even care. He wasn't around long enough to get people invested in his character.  His character has always been more of an idea than a screen presence. 

Anyhow, do you think Abby will be understanding of Mariah struggling or will she kick Mariah and Tessa out of the house?  

nline chatter is accusing the Mike and Nina story line of tanking ratings?  Is this true?  Could a story line be such a turn off for viewers that they would tune out?  Well let's look at the facts? 

“General Hospital” is trending downward with just 2.102 million viewers, down -75,000 viewers compared to last week. The soap was also down substantially in Women 18-49 rating compared to its performance one week earlier (0.30 vs 0.35). In Women 25-54 rating, the soap was off by -0.03 (0.54 vs 0.57). Compared to its performance one year earlier, “GH” is up just 26,000 viewers while down a severe -0.11 in Women 25-54 rating (0.54 vs 0.65) and -0.12 in Women 18-49 rating (0.30 vs 0.42). In fact, one year earlier the soap was the highest-rated daytime drama series in both demographics but has now fallen to third place among the four broadcast soaps.

So with the online chatter, one could ascertain that this story line which is making a lot of people uncomfortable to say the least, could be having a negative effect on viewership.  Hey GH POWERS THAT BE.....it's time to wrap up the Mike Nina story line.  It seems to be a turn off for the majority of viewers. 

On Days of our Lives  Jack has to go and rescue  Julie from her restaurant freezer after her husband locked her in.  Julie later tells Jack that she had the door jam under the door.  She believes her husband dislodged the door jam so he could shut the freezer door and lock her in. 

Now most reasonable people might think that maybe he has developed some sort of dementia.  However, dementia causes people to forget things but most don't normally intentionally try and cause someone 's death. 

Jack is thinking maybe Doug didn't know Julie was in there but she informs Jack that she called to him for help and he looked right at her. 

What the heck do you think is going on with Doug and will this require Hope to come back to Salem? 

We don't think there is anybody that can deny that there is sexual tension between these two. In fact, there is a certain sort of tenderness as well. 

When Sally got the bucket of ice water dumped on her head, Adam took care of her so well giving her his jacket to help warm her up.  He then took her to the hotel room they were using as their green room and helped dry her off. This is where she kissed him.

Yes she did kiss him but he absolutely kissed her back.  Sally has an edge about her that Chelsea has never had. I am not talking con women stuff. I am talking about eluding sexuality.  Sally is a very sexual person and knows how to use it in ways that Chelsea does not.  

The comparison between Sally and Phyllis that Jack makes falls short. The only 2-ways they are a like is scheming and red hair.  If you are a viewer of the Bold and the Beautiful, you know the Spectra history.  Sally  is an extremely talented character, much more talented than Phyllis in every way. Phyllis always made her money by scheming an conning.  Other than Restless Style Magazine, and ripping her way into full ownership of The Grand Phoenix, we are hard pressed to figure out anything else Phyllis has done on her own. 

So Jack can go after the women who slept with his brother while his wife and broke his heart.  Sally will move on to a younger man that might have  a chance to keep up with all her night long. 

Are Young and Restless viewers happy to see an Adam and Sally connection?  How will Chelsea take this?
