Today Charles Shaunessy made his  first appearance as Victor Cassadine. The role was previously played by Thaao Penghlis. Ironically, both Thaao and Charles portray characters on Days of Our Lives.  

Charles  plays a spy  that works for the government and Thaao played DiMera brothers.   Most General Hospital hospital fans will remember Thaao as Victor.  Thaao has played Tony's on both General Hospital and Days of our Lives. 

How long do you think Victor is going to keep Dr. O a prisoner?  Will she be able to make him believe she loves him and then talk him into coming back to Port Charles and move in with Nikolas and Spencer at Wyndemere Castle on Spoon Island?

There isn't much known about this newcomer.
The new Noah will be portrayed by Rory Gibson.  He will be coming back to  Genoa City in the fall. Rory has several projects in post production at  this time.  The actor’s previous credits include the television movies, A NIGHT TO REGRET and TWISTED TWIN, as well as the films, Grace and Severed Road. 

Noah was last seen in 2020 when played by Robert Adamson, who joined the cast in 2012.  It is time for Noah to come home. Hopefully they will give him a better developed character, not one that has to share a love interest with his sister.  He is Nick Newman's only bio son. He should be treated better than he has been treated. .

Linsey Godfrey who protrayed Caroline Spencer on Bold and Beautiful and Sarah Horton on Days of our Lives has never been a shrinking violet. This girl survived a hit and run and cancer in real life.

Godfrey booked roles on One Tree Hill and Surface before being diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma; she estimates cancer set her career back by two years. Upon returning to Hollywood, Godfrey booked several guest-starring roles, and landed a role on The Bold and the Beautiful as series regular Caroline Spencer.

In 2015 on February 2, “The Bold and the Beautiful's” Linsey Godfrey (Caroline) suffered two broken legs after being struck by a car in Los Angeles today. According to an online report from TMZ, the actress was walking down the street when a car hit her around 2:30 PM, pinning her under the vehicle.  Now she is taking on the anti-vaxxers and telling them to stay out of the hospitals if they get Covid.  We here at Back Stage Pass News applaud her. More people have to start saying what she said. 

Do you agree with Linsey and are you anxiously awaiting her return to Days. Last time we saw her Kristen had her in a trunk and was taking her out of Salem. It really is time to find out what happened to her. We know she won't be back until Xander is settled into a new relationship with Gwen.  It is after all a soap. 

Did all the viewers of today's episode feel that Mariah seems to be feeling possessive of the baby?  When she heard Abby saying "Mommy's here." that seemed to wake Mariah right  up. 

I have to tell you, if I just carried a baby for someone and I got kidnapped by that women's ex-husband and the women hadn't even realized it could be him, I would probably think twice about handing over the baby to her. 

While Devon was telling Abby today that none of this was her fault, this absolutely  happened because she had married a man that had PTSD and a son with mental health issues.  Stitch's sister was also nuts. It looks like mental health issues definitely runs in his family. 

Is Abby directly responsible for what Stitch did? No, but she is responsible for not seeing the signs that Devon saw.  

Do you think Mariah and Devon will decide to keep the baby and fight Abby for him?  Will the baby still be named Bowie? Are you aware that there is another  Bowie connection in the cast of  Y&R? 

Why haven't they showed us the baby?  We realize that there are Covid restrictions but new babies are back on other soaps.  

Yes, we all have freedom of speech in America but even with Freedom of Speech, Ingo should not bite the hand that feeds him.  See his rant for yourself.

We are not sure why he is referring to GH fans as BIGOTS.  Perhaps he needs to check a dictionary about that that mean?  How did you feel about Ingo's video to the fans that called for his firing because he is spreading mis-information? 

Everyone should have noticed how uncomfortable Ryan is with Esme. It is almost as if she is even more insidious than Ryan.  In fact, if Ryan and Heather Webber got together and made a baby, that baby would be Esme. 

With that being said, one has to imagine what kind of evil someone would have to be to unnerve Ryan Chamberlain?

Did anybody else find it strange that they did not show us the baby on The Young and Restless?      Mariah went through almost the entire labor for at least a day, maybe longer and the viewers listened to every moan and groan.  Abby and Devon get there just in time and help deliver the baby.  

Then in regular cliffhanger fashion the baby is born, takes his sweet time letting out a cry and then we never even get a peek at the little one. Who else found that a bit bizarre?

f you have been watching General Hospital a long time, then you know that the original Carly portrayed by Sarah Brown and Steve Burton lit up the screen with their sex scenes.  

Jason had that room in the bar where they would drink and play pool and then head upstairs to Jason's room. 

So, has everyone noticed that Carly and Jason are getting touchy touchy since Jason but that rock on her finger?  

Especially today, he grabbed her arm at the bar and then they danced.

ABBY is way to close to all of this. Every viewer of YOUNG AND RESTLESS are screaming at their TV screens that the kidnapper is STITCH but instead of being suspicious of him, ,Abby feeds him info.  

Finally Devon tells her that he does not trust Stitch.  Looks like this kidnapping story line is finally going to come to an end and it should be this week.  

Most of us know that Steve Burton (Jason of GH) had to suspend his tour with Bradford Anderson (Spinelli of GH) because he contracted Covid-19.  He claims to have contracted the virus on the set of General Hospital. 

He announced he was COVID-19 positive on August 13th, YES FRIDAY THE 13TH!! 
Back Stage Pass News was wondering how he was doing so we went fishing around.  

From what we found, he is doing pretty good. He and Bradford released a new Podcast today and Steve talks about doing this interview from his car (that's not going anywhere) and he sounds fine. Make sure to check out their interview with TRINA from GH!!

Yesterday's bomb shell was that Peter is back and following Maxi around the country.  After listening, looking and reading all the comments about the return of Peter, one thing is perfectly clear. 

Here at Back Stage Pass News we keep it real.  With that being said, the only person happy about the return of the villainous character Peter is the actress Laura Wright.  

Her real life boyfriend was unemployed there for a while.  That second paycheck sure does come in handy in today's economy. 

They are also bring Drew Cain back from the dead so they can say that Peter didn't kill anyone. Buckle up and be prepared for the stalking of Maxi, the Quartermaines and anyone else Peter can hurt.  Hopefully this time Dr. O can get done what nobody else has seemed to be able to and rid our television screens of this character nobody wants to see.  She may even have to work with Anna and Valentin to get rid of Peter.

For the folks that watched ALL MY CHILDREN faithfully, we all know that Michael Knight as Tad Martin was a much beloved character.  When he joined the cast of General Hospital, many were thrilled to see him again.  Many spoke about being surprised he let himself be authentic and let his hair be gray instead of dying it. 

When it was disclosed that the writers decided to make Laura and Martin brother and sister, people like me were thrilled. We were happy that Michael was going to have or grow into a prominent role on this soap.  

However, he was not seen for weeks and when they brought him back in during a pool side scene, Michael was limping and looking frail.  He has obviously lost a lot of weight and didn't have his usual spunk. Is there something going on with the actor that is not being acknowledged?  

He doesn't seem to be on social media and we can't find any information out about his health. If you the viewer know where we can get more information on him, please post a link in the comments section below.  

In the meantime, stay tuned and lets hope we see the return of Genie Francis and Michael E. Knight sooner than later.
