Check Will Richard Dean Anderson reprise the role of Jeff Webber on General
Hospital?   In all seriousness, Richard  once said that working on a soap was the hardest work in  his life.  

At 71 years old, he may not want to even attempt to work that hard again. It has literally been a lifetime since he has been on the show. I caught him on a rerun of THE LOVE BOAT which is where this image was screen shot.  He played opposite Linda Blair.

Death of a relationship on Young and Restless.  It really is time for these two to wrap this relationship up in a garbage bag and toss it away.  They can't get through an afternoon love making session without it ending badly. 

It always seems to start out with good intention and as soon as Phyllis opens her mouth, Nick loses it.  The woman laid there listening to him wanting to say so much and she chose her words carefully.  It didn't matter, she can't say anything right.  She rubs Nick the wrong way and now Nick is rubbing her the wrong way. Pillow talk is not supposed to do that way.  

On top of that, Sharon has cornered Billy in the courtyard to confront him about Adam.  She is once again protecting Adam. She doesn't like that Billy has brought Rey in to help get Adam.  However, she is clearly more protective of Adam than she is of Rey. 

The only thing we don't know is who's bed will Sharon fall into at the end of her marriage with Rey?  Will it be Adam's bed (he is heading toward Sally) or will Nick be back in her bed since they still share two children together biologically, Noah and Faith.  Also, please remember that Sharon is the only mother little Christian has ever known.  Nick has pretty much abandoned that kid to spend time with Phyllis as Phyllis made it clear she has nothing motherly to give to Christian. Sharon does and that is where the writers  should go. 

There should or will be an emergency with Noah or Christian that will bring them together.  

​Family Reunion on Young and Restless. New Noah makes his way back to Genoa City on Young and Restless. It was so nice to see this family back together with Noah, Nick and Sharon having lunch together.  

It was a good way for us, the viewers to taste the chemistry these 3  actors have together.  We also got to see New Noah come together with Mariah.  Now Tessa will have to explain why she didn't mention Noah was there and that she spent most of her time talking to Noah when she wasn't performing her paid duties at Victoria's wedding.  

How did you the viewer feel about the chemistry between Nick, Sharon and Noah?  Do you think the return of Noah and Faith both  living back in Genoa City will help along a Sharon and Nick reunion?

Cynthia Watros reveals a blood disease requiring chemo on State of Mind.  We really not only got to know her better watching this episode of Maurice Benard's State of Mind, we got to like her.  

Right in the beginning of the episode Cynthia reveals her  blood disease that took two years of in hospital  treatment to cure.  She also revealed she was a "BALD, PUFFY KID IN SCHOOL,"  because of the treatments and after side affects.  

We learn that in real life she went to acting school with Maura so they are friends in real life.  Maybe the writers wanted to use that real life friendship feeling on the show and that is why Nina and Ava are now friends.  

Cynthia has two identical 20 year old  twin girls who are both in different colleges.  Both she and Maurice knew that there would be push back on the Nina - Mike story line.  That getting between a beloved couple can be crushing by the audience on the actors.  

They both also thought it was a story worth telling and that the story is  continuing to be told.  I guess that means if we were looking for a quick wrap up on this story it is not going to happen. This soap viewer is okay with that as Sonny and Carly bore the  hell out of me.  

This episode of Maurice Benards 'STATE OF MIND" is absolutely worth watching.  Why wait, watch it now. 

Michael gets Nina arrested for Identity Fraud on General Hospital.   I am trying to decide what angel to go with in this article  but there is so much here, it might better to do it in several different sections. 

At some point we all need to either shake our heads at or chuckle at how fast Nina is getting arrested interstate. It would and could  NEVER happen that way or that quickly. Jurisdictions would have to work together and Nina would have to be extradited.  Let's just leave that here. 

How ironic is it that Nina will get arrested while Sonny is sitting there with her.  Because of this arrest, the truth of the relationship will have to come out.  If Nina refuses to tell it because she promised Sonny she wouldn't, somebody else is going to have to tell it. 

Many people like Ava, Phyllis, Peter and Jax know the truth.  As a matter of fact, while Michael is busy having Nina arrested for identity fraud, he also needs to get Jax and Peter arrested for the same thing. They also both knew Sonny was alive and living his life in Nixon Falls.  

Nina will prove how much she loves Mike by not telling the truth of  her relationship with him as she promised Sonny.   Sonny will hate every moment that Nina is in prison.  He will have flash back after flash back of their time together. He will remember her trying to tell  him to find out about his past. 

Sonny is going to be livid about this.  He really didn't want Nina punished.  He knows she didn't sleep with him and told him she could not give herself totally to him until he knew his past.  She encouraged him to go find out who he was.  All of this is going to come out and it will be glorious. 

What do you think Sonny is going to do to help Nina?

Hope and Finn horrified during Luncheon on Bold and Beautiful.  Hope definitely wins the award for best facial expression of the day.  These two sat down to have lunch, not really sure why that is happening in the first place.  You would think that Steffie would be worried Hope will take another man from her.  Anyhow, they sit down to have lunch and talk about her father and his mother.  Low and behold they look across  the courtyard restaurant and slightly behind a bush and see her father and his mother kissing. 

This has to be more than a shock and these two better realize pretty quickly that this means that their parents might be working together.  You have to know that Hope is going to demand that her father walk away from Sheila. 

We laughed our butts off at Hope's facial expression. It is worth 1000 words.

Olivia asks for a Divorce on General Hospital.  She would rather divorce her husband than face the fact that her child is on the spectrum. 

What I find most upsetting about this story line is that she is acting like having a child on the spectrum would be something to be ashamed about. It absolutely is not.  Getting your child the help he needs to live his best life would be something to be ashamed about Olivia. 

I actually don't have the patience for this story line.  I think most parents who have faced this have done it with a lot more grace than Olivia is showing. 

Then she asked for that divorce in  front of not only Ned's daughter but in front of Maxi.  Who the hell does that?  It was terrible.  Now two doctors have told her that her son should be seen by a specialist and instead of listening, she will get a divorce and keep her son in a room in the mansion. 

That kind of thing happened a hundred years ago but not today.   She is not doing her son any favors.  Moments like these make the viewers wish that Julian was still alive so his character would have something to say about Leo's medical treatment. 

 Sonny having trouble hiding Mike's feels for Nina.  Let's start off by saying that the Mike inside Sonny is having trouble hiding his feelings for Nina. As the kids say  today "He has the feels bad for her."  

So today we all witnessed Sonny thinking about Nina back in Nixon Falls when Carly and Jason were asking if they were all "okay."  Sonny is hiding the fact that he was in love with Nina when he was Mike.  Why does he continue to hide it. On top of that, at t he end of today's episode Carly made the statement that she is glad there are no secrets between them.  

That secret is going to blow up in Sonny's face and the fact that both Sonny and Nina are hiding it is going to make it worse.  

Then when Britt came in, Carly says, "So you're taking our Jason away from us?"  You could hear the touch of jealousy and annoyance in her voice. How could Sonny not pick up on that?  Let's see how Carly is dealing with Jason being away with Britt the next few days. Carly is aware that Britt and Jason slept together on their last adventure.  She will be hard pressed to hide this from Sonny as her jealousy grows.  How bad do you think this is going to get?  

Jack and Phyllis share a moment on Young and Restless.  Sally catches that moment and she is having none of it. She photographs them during this special moment.  They don't even see her outside the room in the hallway. 

Did she take the photo because  of jealousy and what is she planning on doing with it?  Will she text it to Nick?  Nick and Sally are not in a good place right now. It won't  take much to push them over the edge of over. 

Does Jack and Phyllis have a future on Young and Restless?  Is Phyllis destined to be an Abbott like her daughter?  Would that be weird, Jack being Summer's father in law and step-father?  Tell us how you feel in the comment section below.  

Well played Peter well played on General Hospital. There is nothing more to say other than we really didn't see that one coming. We did think the rapid gunfire on Drew was a bit  extreme  but we didn't know they had worked this out before time. 

What we would have to ask is if Drew is really under Peter's spell or  is he following Liesel's advice, thinking of his child and playing along with Peter? Let's hope he is playing along with Peter so he can end him.   

I had thought he might have been wearing a bullet proof vest but just didn't think he would have had time to put one on.  In hindsight, he came prepared when he busted Valentin out of that room. Now that explain why he only shot Peters henchman in the leg or foot. We are not  sure why they had blood coming out of Drew's mouth and nose when he was in the water.  That made us all believe yesterday that he was a gonna. Did they have him break a blood capsule in his mouth as well?

Black Cowboy Hat that threatens Carly and Sonny's Marriage on General Hospital.  Since Phyllis brought that hat (that survived a horrific fire)  to Sonny's house, it has represented a threat to Carly's marriage.  Carly is very well aware that the man she is married to would never sport a Cowboy Hat. 

So now Sonny has confronted both Jason and Carly about the wedding night and the fact that they were going to make it a real marriage that night. Sonny was having trouble swallowing the fact that his best friend and wife were going to do this.  His ego is way too big for him to be able to deal with this.  However, Jason will go away with Britt so that will calm things down for a while.  Who else is surprised that Sonny didn't yell and bunch things?

We here at Back Stage Pass News think that Sonny didn't yell at them because he feels guilty for falling in love with Nina. Not only did he fall for her, he still has feelings for her.  On top of that, he is hiding  the fact that they had a relationship at all. Is he not aware that this is Port Charles?  Carly is going to find out.

Victoria stuns the viewers by thanking Sally on Young and Restless The viewers were quite surprised when Victoria  actually thanked and hugged Sally for the dress while still in the dress. She told her that she did not approve of her methods but that the dress was perfect. 

There has been much controversy regarding this dress. Some people love it but some people also hate it.  Some feel the dress was a let down after the big build up for the dress. Other's feel the dress was perfect for the occasion and Victoria's body style.  

Tell us your opinion of the dress below and were you surprised that Victoria thanked Sally?  Has this become a new part of Victoria's personality?  Giving second chances and compassion? 

Jason must confess to Sonny on General Hospital.  Sonny realizes during his conversation with Nina that he walked in on something with Carly and Jason. Nina put it straight but gently that it must have been uncomfortable coming home on his wife and Jason's wedding day but better to get there before the wedding night than after.  

Sonny obviously had no idea that his wife was about to make her marriage real to Jason.  He decides that he is going to ask Jason rather than go find his wife.  Why was that?  Why not go to your wife first?  I found that strange.  

Then Jason doesn't even call Carly and warn her that he has already told Carly the truth?   I thought that was a bit odd as well.  Now he walks in the house and Carly says to him after just pushing his Cowboy hat around, 'HOWDY."  

The vibe between Carly and Sonny has been forced smiles and trying to act as business as usual. Speaking of business. How is it that there has not been a meeting of the families for Sonny to show everyone is back and back in charge?  

Can Sonny's ego handle the fact this wife took another husband and was ready to take him into her bed? 

Phyllis really loves Phyllis so very much.   Phyllis's greatest love in her life is Phyllis. This is not even a tongue in cheek statement.  I always thought of her as self centered but her behavior today has given permission to add the word immature. For years over and over again we have seen Phyllis do first and foremost what is best for Phyllis.  It doesn't matter if it is not good for her kids, Daniel and Summer or her granddaughter (Lucy - the invisible granddaughter)

While some may have thought that her twirling around today in front of Nick and then in front of her daughter and younger generation adults, it really illustrated how much she needs to be the center of attention.  It also showed her immaturity. 

I was both amused and disgusted by her twirling. She is a women in 50's and she still bounces around like a teenager.  In real life Michelle Stafford is 56  years old.    Now, in today's world being in your 50's is not old but it is certainly past the age of twirling your dress around in public. In fact that normally stops when you are in your teens. 

Was anybody else bothered by the twirling and do you find Phyllis to be self-centered and immature?  What did you  think of the dress? 

workiVictor adores his daughter Victoria on Young and Restless.  We all know that Victor adores Victoria so we have  to wonder what is really going on here. Is it possible that he believes that Victoria really loves Ashland and that Ashland really loves Victoria?  Absolutely.  

However, we also know that Victor has put his family and friends second when it has come to Newman Enterprises.  Is it possible that Victor realizes that Victoria's heart  has put in jeopardy all that he spent a lifetime building and put it in jeopardy in record time?  Like less than one year. 

We the viewers know Victor loves his daughter.  Is it possible that he is approving of this marriage because he  believes that they are a great couple?   Does he see his daughter and Ashland and the next Victor and Nikki?

Is he just approving of this marriage because it is the only way to save the business at this point?  

The writers have really written a twisted story line here. It is truly a puzzle to the viewer. Many believe that Ashland does not even have cancer and that has been running a long con.  Others believe that Ashland loves Victoria every bit as much as he proclaims he does.  Some think that Victor has a master plan to con the conman and have them end up with Newman Locke and Ashland end up with a big fat divorce and nothing.  Some believe that everyone loves everyone and that Ashland will pass away with his doting wife by his side in a heart breaking death scene. 

Which do you believe to be true?
