Jack and Phyllis can't stay away from each other on Young and Restless.  They traveled to the wedding together where Nick was most likely the 3rd wheel on that flight.  Once they arrived Phyllis waited in the room when Nick tried to make nice with Victoria. 

That didn't work and when Phyllis tried to tell Nick she supported him and that Victoria was treating him badly, Nick defended Victoria (and she wasn't even in the room) and accused Phyllis of using the situation to speak badly of his sister.  That was truly uncalled for and it hurt Phyllis much more than she let on at the time. 

We find out a little later during the cocktail party that she was very bothered by Nicks unsolicited and unneeded defense  of his self-centered sister. 

When Jack attempts to defend Nick, Phyllis loses it and tells him he does not have to do that. She tells Jack she has always been a Newman OUTSIDER and she always will be.  The official moving away from Nick and toward Jack has begun. 

Wedding Bell Blues on Young and Restless. While both Victoria and Ashland seem over the moon at this moment, can Victoria really be okay with marrying this man whose lying is second nature for him?

How can Victor be protecting him like this unless Victor is afraid of losing Newman Enterprises or getting egg on his face? He should be embarrassed that his daughter has been conned by this man.

What on earth is going on  here?  So is Ashland fake coughing so Victoria and anybody walking by the room believe he is struggling with his breathing?

Sally's dress design is tame compared to the build up on Young and Restless. Victoria's proclaimed that this would be the wedding of the season.  It looks to be eloquent but it is certainly not the event of the season. It is small, intimate and quaint. 

That looks nothing like the Taffeta dress Lauren's seamstress was designing so we can only assume that is Sally's satin design.  It is a pretty dress but certainly understated as compared to the buildup we were all getting about it. 

 However, Sally or any dressmaker would have a tough time filling in a dress as the actress is severely underweight.  Considering that, the dress looks lovely.  However, the groom is stealing her spotlight in his velvet tux.  I don't think I have ever heard of a wedding where the groom stole the show. 

That may be a look into what the rest of  this marriage is going to look like. 

King and Queen of Busybodies on Bold and Beautiful.  Have Brooke and Ridge always been this way.  How about they mind their own damn business. It is absolutely up to Hope if she wants to have a relationship with her father. It is also not up to Liam. He is the last person to tell Hope anything with all he has put her through.  

If they hadn't chased Deacon away, he would not have been sitting at the bar for Sheila to find so she could find him.  Now they have compared their grievances and Deacon might just make a deal with the devil to try and get his daughter to be with him. He had high hopes when he was in prison and Brooke and Ridge have dashed his hopes, pun intended.  

Do you think Brooke and Ridge should mind their own business?  Where is their son?  Don't they have a teen to raise? 

General Hospital is the only soap mandating Covid-19 vaccinations. It seems absolutely appropriate that a soap that is supposed to be circling around the local hospital would be taking such steps to protect their cast. 

In the summer Steve Burton announced he had Covid-19 and that he had been exposed to it on the set of General Hospital. Many  fans and cast members expressed their concern and anger that the powers that be at the soap were not protecting cast and crew.  

Since that time, it has been formally mandated. That mandate was announced by Nancy Lee Grahn as she announced and thanks the show for taking such caring actions.   See her post here.

Dante and his Dad - Like Father like Son on General Hospital.   Dante rocked that Tux on General Hospital today.  He and Sam were making a very good looking couple until the spy games took over. 

You know they say there is a thin line in the difference between Criminals and Cops.  They have so much in common.  However, what cops do is for the better good of the majority. What criminals do is whatever is best for them. 

However, they do both lie, cheat and con to achieve their end goals. It is just so obvious that Dante is a better version of Sonny.  It is really time for Dante to get more  screen time.  For the writers to give he and Sam more air time and to please, for the love of all things good and interesting, take screen time from Carly.

It has become painful to continue watching her.  Erica Kane and Victoria Lord  Buchanan didn't get this much air time and they were the stars/Queens of their daytime shows.  The fans are literally begging for less Carly.  Please writers, can't you send her away for a while so she can figure out who she loves, Sonny or Jason?  WE would truly appreciate it.  

We would like to see more Sam and Dante, more of Alexis's other daughters as well as more Ava and Nikolas, more Scotty and Dr. O., and more Elizabeth and Finn.  

Who do you want to see more of on General Hospital? 

Thorsten Kaye steals the spotlight on Bold and Beautiful. Last week Thorsten who portrays Ridge Forrester finally got to reveal a bit of his extraordinary talent in the scene between him, Eric and Quinn.  

This story line is so sensitive and emotional but it was Ridge that tugged at our heart strings when his tear drops fell. 

Fans of One Life To Live, All My Children  are well aware of Thornsten's talent but they haven't really let him shine here at Bold and Beautiful. His best known roles include Patrick Thornhart on One Life to Live, Dr. Ian Thornhart on Port Charles, Zach Slater on All My Children and Ridge Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful.  It seems like the only remaining soap he hasn't been on is Days of our Lives.  
When not working, Kaye enjoys music, literature and riding American motorcycles. He is a fan of the Miami Dolphins and the Detroit Red Wings.
While appearing on One Life to Live, he met his partner, Susan Haskell, who played his on-show love interest (Margaret "Marty" Saybrooke). The two currently have two daughters, McKenna (born February 2003) and Marlowe (born January 2007)

Ava's aggressive ear tug was priceless on General Hospital.  Stopping in to say goodbye to Ryan, the viewer got to see Ava grab Ryan's ear with a combo pinch pull. It was the perfect scene. We would like to call it passive aggressive but it was anything but passive. 

Ava is going to find out next week that it hasn't been Ryan stalking her. However, it has been Esme helping Spencer and there is a Esme and Ryan connection.  

At the end of Friday's episode, Esme definitely led us to believe that  she is connected to Ryan in a more specific way.  Is Esme Ryan's daughter? There is definitely something evil about this girl. 

Ava was absolutely baffled when Esme confronted her.  What will Ava do next week when she finds out that it was Esme that lit her car on fire? 

Sonny is conned by a teenage creature on General Hospital. Since when does Sonny drop everything and listen to something a teenager who is a virtual stranger to him say?  This guy is not the Sonny we used to know.  He looks like him but he is not thinking straight. 

Sonny is also spending all his time away from his wife.  Jason is still managing Carly as always. You would  think if you were away from your wife and family for 9 months, you would be spending all your time with them now.  BUT NO....Sonny is everywhere but home and with his family. 

Doesn't anybody else find this strange?  Now he is going to harass Nickolas. 

Jack wants Phyllis back and there is no pretending he doesn't on Y & R. The way Jack is feeling about Phyllis is not  only obvious but it is also obvious that Phyllis is encouraging him. 

It is very inappropriate to tell Jack he can drink and wear his heart on his sleeve. You know when Jack found out that Phyllis  had cheated on him with Billy, Jack was devastated. Phyllis had assured Jack it was him that she wanted but Jack wasn't ready to accept that  back then. 

Phyllis is constantly being with men at least 10 years younger or more than Jack.  What makes Jack think that he could ever be enough for Phyllis?

Do you see a future for Jack and Phyllis?  

Ridge and Brooke should mind their own business. Seriously, how is  this any of their business?  Should they mind their own business or should Eric be treated like a man that doesn't have the ability to know what is good for him?

Why is Katie buzzing around Eric?  Is there going to be a Katie-Eric hook up. Katie is even younger than Quinn. This just wouldn't make sense. 

Nicole and EJ reigniting their former romance on Days. Does EJ want this just to get even with Sami?  He does know that the best way to get even with Sami is to be with her enemy Nicole.  

If you are a long timer viewer, you are aware that Nicole really did love EJ back in the day.  EJ had real feelings for Nicole as well but never loved anyone like he loved Sami.  

Speaking of Sami, does EJ have her locked away somewhere and where is Sydney?  

Carly's trailer trash behavior showed the difference in class between she and Nina's upbringings.  Seriously, while everyone expected Carly to destroy Nina today, the opposite occurred.  On top of that, you could really see the difference between being raised a lady and being pulled up from the gutter. 

Carly a/k/a Caroline was tough to watch today. While she has lived an adult life of privileged, the old adage, you can take the girl out of trailer park but you can't get the trailer park out of the girl was never more true today. 

We here at Back Stage Pass News have never been Nina fans but after today, that might change.

Sonny's tombstone on General Hospital forgot the word MOBSTER. Who else was surprised that the only thing mentioned on Sonny's tombstone was  husband, father and grandfather?  

It got me wondering what all should be on a tombstone?  Is the only thing that is important that we do in this life be marriage, kids and grand kids?  Is not what we do make up a big part of who we are?  I know, deep thoughts on a day such as this.  

Have you thought about what you would like to be remembered for after you are gone?  

I can't even imagine seeing my own tombstone. That has to be a strange moment.  When do we or better yet the soap want to talk and deal with the fact that Carly and Jason married for love and Nina and Mike were in love.  TOMORROW MAYBE?
