Taylor and Brookes relationship on Bold and Beautiful and where it's heading

What is going on here?

We can't be the only people watching this soap thinking that the writers may have these two women heading toward more than just a regular friendship.  When the writers finally let these ladies kick their Ridge habit, we were all happy.  Now they are really there for each other.  

Viewers have been speculating that they would bring in new men for these two women but that hasn't happen yet.  In the meantime, both ladies seem to be getting closer and closer.  They physically touch all the time. 

Sometimes friends hug.  We know that.  But it feels like something else is happening here. Would The Bold and the Beautiful be experimenting with the thought of two well established characters discovering a physical relationship with one another.  We know that many don't want to see another same sex couple on TV.  The Bold and the Beautiful like to do a lot of shocker story lines.  We are trying to ascertain if this has been done before?

The only time we can remember seeing anything like this is when All My Children made Eric's daughter Bianca gay.  There was a lot of hoopla around that but it was eventually accepted.  

There are times in life when men and women who have gotten divorced have discovered that they are gay.  Is it possible that Bold and Beautiful are going there?  

Would you as the viewer be okay with that?
