Nancy Lee Grahn give update on her medical condition and leave of absence from General Hospital.

"Now that I've gotten over my PTSD from watching the Oscars, I can catch you up.
Surgery was a Godsend. The brilliant Dr. Matthew Chong at Kerlan Jobe swiftly removed the pesky cyst that parked itself on my facet joint in between a cluster of nerves on top and one seriously mean one on the bottom. I tell ya, surgery and the aftermath was a cakewalk after lugging around my little friend for 3 months. I didn't take even one of the lovely painkillers. Just 2 tylenol in all. I'm off for another week, 21/2 in all, been shuffling around the house and of course dropping everything I touch because I can't bend down. Richard comes home after work and picks it all up. It's such a shame because I haven't been able to do the laundry, or lift groceries or make beds and clean things. So sad. No one else has been doing it either, but I don't care. I happily shuffle around the house with my back brace. Every day is better than the next. Except when I watch the news. Oy!
Today we found out that orange mussolini has a gap of 7.5 hours in his phone logs on Jan 6th. Ya know, the 7.5 hours when there was an ongoing attempt to overturn the government & the election results. So the Golden Wrecking Ball was either on a burner phone, or his Mattel GI Joe Walkie Talkie. In any case, he didn't want anyone to know what he was saying or to whom while his deadbeat army was sh*ting in our Capitol and terrorizing our Congress. Hell, Nixon only tried to hide 18 minutes from the law. Benedict Arnold went for broke hiding 7.5 HOURS. It will be a glorious just day when trumpty dumpty falls. Anyhoo....
In other news, Biden has led with integrity, wisdom, compassion and strength regarding the devastating attack on Ukraine. He has spoken to the world directly, decisively and honestly. He/We have been well received globally. The contrast between the leadership before and now is extraordinary and relieving.
As for our beloved, apolitical, just pure fun escape, #GH, I am always here to answer any questions, laugh with you, gossip about and reveal what I can. As always I appreciate your patronage. Every TV show wishes they had the likes and the loyalty of you guys in their family.

The writer 's have decided to drag this out and not let anybody know who is texting Jack on the Young and Restless.  Back Stage Pass News thinks they know who it is.  If you don't know the history about Jacks son Keemo, let us catch you up.

Keemo Volien Abbott was the son of Jack Abbott and Luan Volien Abbott. He had one half sister, Mai Volien, and two half brothers: John Abbott III, who is deceased and Kyle Abbott. He was the father of Allie Nguyen and he was the uncle of Kyle's son, Harrison Locke. Born in 1974 in Vietnam.
Christine became friends with local restaurant owner Luan. When Luan was shot by robbers at her restaurant, she pleaded with Christine Blair to find her son. Luan hadn't seen her son for years because he still lived as an outcast in their native country of Vietnam. Christine and Paul Williams found Keemo living in the jungles.
Through a series of events, Christine deduced that Jack had been Luan's lover while he was a soldier in Vietnam and had fathered Keemo. With Christine's assistance, Jack and Luan were reunited. Luan admitted that she had given birth to their son Keemo, now a grown man. Upon his arrival in Genoa City, Keemo resented his parents for abandoning him. Keemo moved in with his mom and her daughter Mai Volien. Luan told Keemo that Jack was his father, which angered Keemo, because he had always believed that his American father had deserted Luan. When Keemo learned that Jack and Luan had been separated by the war's ending, he accepted Jack as his father and eventually formed a relationship with his parents. However, Mari Jo Mason, Jack's fiancee, wasn't pleased to learn of Luan's return to Jack’s life. She began to worry about the impact this reunion would have on her relationship.
Luan married Jack. Keemo became romantically involved with his father's ex-fiancee Mari Jo. He quickly tired of Mari Jo's mind-games and ended the relationship after she paid a prostitute to sleep with him.
Luan died from a terminal illness. When Keemo learned that Jack had known that his mother was seriously ill, he accused his father of stealing precious time that he and his sister Mai could have spent with their mother. Eventually, Keemo forgave his father. To Jack's disappointment, Keemo announced that he was returning to Vietnam. Keemo left Genoa City with Mai.
After grieving over Luan's death for several months, Jack resumed his relationship with Mari Jo. By summer, Jack and Mari Jo were again engaged to marry. Keemo sent Jack a fax urging him to be leery of Mari Jo.

Back Stage Pass News this it is extremely possible that Keemo is still alive and he is making sure that his father will look after his daughter after he is gone.  Although Mari  Jo may still be lurking around in the picture, there has also been no mention of  Allie's Aunt.  Could it be Mai looking after her niece and if so, why would she be hiding in the darkness? 

Victoria has lost it on Young and Restless.  Does anybody remember her defending Billy or JT the way she defends THE  LOCK-NEST MONSTER? 

She knows she married  a man with a terrible reputation for being a cut throat in business and his personal life.  When she met him he was busy attacking Kyle Abbott.  We all believe he may have had a heart issue that a little shunt fixed.   However, there are absolutely no viewers we have run across that think this may has/had cancer and was enduring cancer treatments.  

It was downright lousy and unthinkable of the writers to devise such a crappy story line. I mean who would think anybody would fake a cancer diagnosis to get ahead in business? It is beyond contemptible. 

However, this is the man that let his friend die in a car fire and walk away and take the guys identity.  With Victoria knowing that, how can she think that this man wouldn't have done this to her?  

Is it possible that he formed this plan before he fell in love with her and his love for her is something that wasn't supposed to happen?  OR....has he never loved her, always used her and has done this to get even with her father who was going to let him die if he didn't sign the contracts in the beginning of this story line?  Comment below so we know what everyone is thinking.  

Spencer's entitled attitude is way over the top on General Hospital. Somebody has to say it so I guess it will be  Back Stage Pass News. The character of Spencer never cared about the character of Courtney. He never knew his mother, not at all.  

Maybe once or twice he asked his father and or Uncle Sonny about her. However, never ever did we see or know about him visiting her grave or him having flowers put on her grave.  

Then the entitled brat gets his Uncle to get him a day pass out of the slammer for which he is to spend a lousy 30 days.  My lord, he could have waited the 20 days or had someone else put the flowers on his mother's grave.  We got treated to that day pass so they could have Trina run into Spencer. 

So we have to ask, why was Trina at the cemetery? Her father is not dead. Does she just stroll through a cemetery in the afternoon for shortcuts or fun?  No wonder the actress left the role. I couldn't have run out of their fast enough.   At least they let the character call him out on his entitlement but really writers, do better.  

Sydney Mikayla has exited the role as Trina and who can really blame her.  She claims it is to focus on her studies but GH sure didn't make it worth her while to stay. 

Best Soap Daddy on General Hospital?  Without a doubt, the best Soap Daddy on General Hospital is not a bio Daddy at all. The best soap Daddy on General Hospital is without a doubt MAC SCORPIO. 

While we all love Robert Scorpio, is have never been a great Dad.  Neither has Luke, Frisco, Sonny or Lucky.  Mac Scorpio raised and is still the on scene father for both Robin and Maxie.  Sometimes it even slips the minds of viewers that Mac is not their father.  Mac was also a wonderful Dad to Georgie and he did all this parenting through their dreaded teen years.  Do you agree or would you chose a different best Dad? Now Mac is going to be the best Grandpa to Bailey as he has been with Georgie and James. 

By the way, we can add Spinelli as second runner up as he has been a great Dad to Georgie and he has been raising James since Maxie  has been MIA most like Frisco and Felicia were with their kids. 

Peter August is dead on General Hospital.  There was nobody more surprised then me today when I felt all kinds of emotions about Peter's death.  I have literally wanted this character dead for a very long time.  We have to give props to WES. His death scene was spectacular. On top of that, you could see the better part of him surface in the last minutes of his life. 

Anna who was supposed to be his Aunt and thought was his mother for a few years acted her very thin butt off.  So we must give props to Finola as well for her acting chops in this scene. 

I felt her emotions, so twisted between family bond and the fact that his long line of treachery is over.  You could feel the maternal angst she was experiencing while at the same time feeling relief. The same thing with Maxi. She was just told the father of her baby was dead.  She cried for the man she thought he was and that Louise would never know that man, her father and she also felt great relief. 

It is obvious that Anna is going to suffer some guilt that she didn't call the ambulance although the ambulance probably couldn't have saved him. 

I don't  know if I missed this but was he supposed to have a cracked skull?  Did he die from blunt force trauma to his head? Please comment below.

Should Taylor let Ridge come home on Bold and Beautiful?  Watching this scene was very uncomfortable for me.  It felt like Ridge was being pushed into believing that he should give his former marriage to Taylor another chance.   

The writers want us to forget that just a few short years ago Taylor shot Bill in his own living room. Since they have brought her back, all we have heard about is how wonderful she is traveling the world saving what??  Minds and souls?  

Anyhow, they bring this poor actress in with really bad wigs and we are all just supposed to love her.  I am absolutely no fan of the character Brooke. I believe that Brooke has no problem falling on any man's lips at her convenience.  BUT it is hard to root for this Taylor with this force reconciliation.  How are you the viewer feeling about this? Picture perfect family on General Hospital.  You have to admit, these 3 are a very cute family.  They need to hurry up and cement this relationship. The pre-courtship really has gone on long enough. It would be nice to see this relationship advance.  Do the viewers want to see Brooklyn and Chase get into a romantic relationship?  Are they already in a romantic relatioship?

Adam and Sally heating Valentines Day up on Young and Restless. The last few days Adam and Sally have been getting closer.  There is no denying that these two have chemistry.  The Valentine's Day celebrations are big and beautiful on Young and Restless.  

While Rey and Sharon are having fun together, Chelsea is having dreams of Rey.  Sharon loves her husband, her ex husband and her ex brother in law boyfriend.  

Nick and Noah and dateless in Genoa City.  Faith and Moses are so cute and we can't forget Mariah and Tessa.  Who is your favorite Valentine's Day Couple this year?

Sonny hasn't smiled this big in a long time on General Hospital.  Lots of fans love Sonny and Carly together but truth is that Sonny has not been happy with Carly for a long time. 

When was the last time you saw the character of Sonny this big at Carly? All they have done for years is just exist together.  They got closer for a while when they had Donna but that was short lived.  Carly has always loved Jason and more than a friend. Jason was always Carly's first love. Do you think that Sonny and Carly should just move on?  Comment below for immediate feedback. 

How soon they forget and not forgive. Richard Burgi seems to be less than a distant memory on the set of Young and Restless. 

​Here is new Ashland being portrayed by Robert Newman as he films one of his first scenes with Victoria. Newman has returned to CBS  after 28 years as Joshua Lewis on Guiding Light, the longest-running program in broadcasting history (1952-2009).

So it looks like Robert Newman will be playing the role when the  character Victor Newman takes down Ashland Locke, a/k/a the Locknest Monster. 

How could Victor have ever been okay with his daughter marrying this guy?  How can he not know that this guy is a conman?   Here's an ironic song for the Fans  of the former Ashland and Victoria listen too. 

Dante may end Port Charles Peter problem on General Hospital.  Wouldn't it be lovely if Dante would exterminate the vermin that is Peter?  The viewers are so sick of this guy.  He seems to get away with everything. There is always someone there to help this man out. Someone needs to end this. It is obvious that he is not going to get to the prison. 

Peter will either escape prison by Victor helping him out or Dante will shoot him dead. Someone is helping Peter. After all, someone shot out the tires on an ice covered road. 

Dominic tore his hat off his head on Young and Restless today.  The baby with the bald head has had enough of wearing the dang hat everyday.  I am sure people were wondering why the producers kept those stupid looking hats on those twins?  

First the viewers had to deal with everyone nursing, carrying and walking a rolled up blanket for months.  They finally gave us a real baby and that baby had a continuous parade of heavy hats on the poor babies head. 

The reason why it was decided to keep a hat on the babies heads was because one twin is bald and the other twin has dark curly hair on his head. 

The producers did pick babies that are bi-racial to try and match more closely the bi-racial status of the character baby Dominic. It should now make sense why they kept the hats on those boys.  LOOK PRODUCERS, the BABIES want the hat wearing to stop.  Just leave the hats off the poor little guys, enough is enough.  

Richard Burgi's last air date on Young and Restless.  The soap giant has not announced the official last air date for Richard Burgi.  However, the show records about 2 months ahead.  That would mean that Richard's last day should be somewhere around March 12th, 2022.  

Burgi had been fired from Young and Restless for breaking Covid-19 Protocols.  After being exposed to Covid, he did not quarantine for 10 days. He quarantined for only 5 days putting his fellow actors at risk. 

Just imagine for one minute if he had Covid and made 1/4 or 1/2 of the cast and crew sick?  This is not about politics. This is all about public health and common sense.  Richard's replacement has started filming. Some former Guiding Light fans are elated. A REAL NEWMAN - Robert Newman has taken his place.​
