I Want You Around

The Christian artist who calls himself HeIsTheArtist resides on Long Island, just a hamlet away from where I grew up.  I think about how he sees and experiences some of the places, tastes and aromas, things that are uniquely Long Island.  Knowing that, I can see, hear and feel how he is so uniquely him.   You truly have to live on Long Island, especially Suffolk County to know what I am saying. 

That being said, let's talk about "I Want You Around."  HeIsTheArtist decided he would cover Snoh Aalegra's tune and boy of boy did he make it uniquely his own. This is a must hear for anyone who loves soulful music. 

I Want You Around is a delightful 3:54 second musical journey around the world.
