There are some songwriter that write about fluff.  There are other  songwriters that write about what they live.  Dennis French is the latter. Having survived a stroke that took some of this songwriters vision, he is learning not only to live with it but to learn and grow from it. Not only that but he hopes to helps others who are facing obstacles and helping them to know that they can also over come.  The new single by Dennis French talks all about that. ABOUT DENNIS FRENCH

Dennis French is a Canadian singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Music has been a lifelong passion of his. Growing up in Scarborough Ontario, Dennis took an interest in Music at the young age of 9 when he began experimenting on the piano and soon after drums, guitar and vocals. By the age 12 he began to write, and was in his first band (The Garfield Band) by the age of 18. The band was signed with Polygram Records out of Chicago in the mid 70's, and went on to release 4 albums, and were also nominated for a Juno Award. Since the bands split in the mid 80's Dennis has been writing and singing solo. With the release of his single "I'm Not Beaten" Dennis shares a raw and real song, highlighting the overcoming of life's hurdles. Dennis overcame a stroke that nearly took his vision, and has not slowed down one bit, calling on anyone to listen to remember that you may be broken and shattered - but never beaten. Dennis talks about being broken but not beaten in this song. The music video features Dennis walking through a junk yard with all the broken down cars, truck and debris.  The song is full of fabulous description words and the emotion Dennis delivers in this song makes you feel his pain.  However, you also feel his triumph.
