Surviving Covid Rickey Medlocke returns to stage with Lynyrd Skynyrd this Sunday in New Jersey

It is time for some wonderful news.  RICKEY MEDLOCKE has survived COVID-19 and will be back on stage with Lynyrd Skynyrd on Sunday, August 22nd, 2021.  The band recently had to reschedule and cancel a few  shows because of Rickey's Covid diagnosis.  

 On July 23, 2021, Johnnie Van Zant had just announced the absence of Gary Rossington because he had to undergo emergency stent surgery.  With Gary's blessing the band continued on through July. Gary is still home recovering. 

When the news came that Rickey had Covid-19, the band announced that they would be shutting down shows until Rickey could come back. Missing both of their remaining 2 original members meant it was time to postpone and reschedule shows.
