Rafe caught strangling stuffed bear

As Ava and Nicole stood chatting at the counter, Rafe sat at the table drinking wine and listening to the stuffed bear.  What is going on with Rafe?  Why is this man hearing a stuffed animal talk to him? Do Days viewers have to worry about Rafe's sanity?

Do the viewers think that Rafe has honest feelings for Ava or is he just with her because he can't have Nicole or shouldn't have Nicole?  When he is alone with her in bed, he seems to be totally in to her but as soon as he is away from Ava his mind wanders to Nicole.

Do the viewers want to see Rafe get together with Nicole? Does it almost feel like the writers are writing these scenes for a single Nicole as opposed to her being a married to Eric Nicole?  When will the viewers believe that Nicole has waited long enough for her husband to come home?  Why did this man get married just to leave his wife and the daughter he proclaims to love?  How long is long enough to wait for a husband to come home. Do you give it 6 months, a year or two. In most states in the United States you can get a divorce for constructive abandonment if you spouse does not have sex with you for a year.

Ava and Nicole are friends.  Will this triangle that is forming between Ava, Rafe and Nicole end the relationship between these two women?  What are these two going to think about Rafe after he strangled the bear? Where do you think the writers are going with this? Do you want to see Rafe stay with Ava or do you want him to get together with Nicole just in time for Eric to come back to Salem?  You have to know , the husband always comes back.
