We are not a political ezine at all, not in the very least. However, we thought this was important enough to talk about. On top of that, our ezine not only talks about thing happening in the entertainment world but we will also discuss things that happen with the social media mega giants. We thought this so important that we needed to talk about it. Marjorie Taylor Greene, also known by her initials MTG and Marjorie Greene, is an American politician, businesswoman, and far-right conspiracy theorist serving as the U.S. representative for Georgia's 14th congressional district. Twitter for the 2nd time has suspended the walking talking national hazard that is Marjorie Taylor Greene. Do you think it is enough that Twitter suspend this menace or do you believe that she should be permanently banned from Twitter? Do you think she is as dangerous as Donald Trump? Comment below.

BLUE SKIES is quickly becoming a traditional country music fans must hear. So much of today's country music is Bro Country or Country Rap, there is definitely a need for some back to basics country music. Blue Skies delivers that much needed sound and back to basics feel traditional country music fans have been craving.
Singer/Songwriter Greg Wilson hadn't even wanted this song to be released. In fact, his wife put it up on YouTube and people started playing it and commenting on it and loving it. She convinced her husband that it should be released as a single. It is on SPOTIFY below. Greg Wilson was a road musician for years touring across the country. He is a singer/songwriter who lives in a tour about an hour from Nashville. He is a cancer/stroke survivor who has had three solo albums released through the years. He also has a few band albums released under band names Tennessee Tailspin and Ransom.
Greg and his co-writing wife Donna have released two albums together, "All Access," and "Love Story." They have a website which chronicled Greg cancer treatment journey and continues on as he heads toward reaching the goal of 5 years cancer free. He is currently at 3 years cancer free. You can check out that journey at www.NolanWilson.com
The fact that this song has gone DOUBLE PLATINUM is no surprise to this writer. The song moves you to a place that takes you back to a time when you were ending a relationship that meant a lot to you.
Last night at the Ryman Auditorium, Country music star and Curb Records recording artist, Lee Brice, performed a benefit show to help raise money for the John Hiatt Adolescent and Young Adult Treatment Fund at Cumberland Heights. Lee was joined on-stage by special guest, Walker Montgomery. When Lee's was done performing, he was presented with a plaque to commemorate the RIAA certification of Double Platinum status for the track he recorded with Carly Pearce, "I Hope You're Happy Now." The hit song went to #1 on the Country charts and was awarded "Musical Event of the Year" and "Single of the Year" at the 56th ACM Awards, and also grabbed the award for "Musical Event of the Year" at the 2020 Country Music Awards. This latest Platinum Single Award takes Lee to 20 Million RIAA song awards.
There is really no way to ignore that the Victoria and Ashland are a front and center front burner story line. The soap is putting so much emphasis on this couple. It makes long time viewers wonder if there is something more to this story line that is being kept from us.
In fact, other than some lame scenes with Tara and Kyle everything these days seem to revolved back around to Victoria. Even scenes with Tara revolved back around to Victoria as Victoria will now become step mother to Harrison if she accepts Ashlands' proposal. Would love to see some guesses as what do you the viewer think is the writers end game here? Comment below.
The die-hard life time fans that have been with LS from the beginning are aware that Rickey Medlocke is an original member. For the people that might not know this fact, it warrants repeating. Rickey Medlocke played, wrote and recorded with Lynyrd Skynyrd during those famous Muscle Shoals recording sessions as seen pictured with the band in those early days above.
Rickey is the guy with his arm up over the bar. He played drums on the bands very first album. He also wrote several of the songs (Wino, White Dove and The Season's) to name just a few:
Lyrics for Wino:
Wino on the street. Drinking a bottle of booze Ain't got nothing to say, yeah. And he don't got much to lose Times are on his face. Blisters on his brain Wonders who's at fault. Knows that he's to blame Thinks back on his childhood And wonders the reasons why Why some men have made it rich. Why some men have cried Reached out his hand, lord. For a nickel or a dime Livin' every day, yeah, for one more taste of wine Wino, soon you've got to choose How long must you take abuse Wino, you wasn't born to lose Sweet wine is making you a fool Wino on the street. Drinking a bottle of booze Ain't got nothing to say, yeah. And he don't got much to lose I want to help him out with his troubles and woes I guess he's a happy young man. God in heaven only knows Wino, soon you've got to choose How long must you take abuse Wino, you wasn't born to lose Sweet wine is making you a fool Yonder come a man, now this I know Now you better find some place to go Yonder come a man to take you downtown He don't want you hanging around Source: Musixmatch Songwriters: Ronnie Van Zant / Allen Collins / Rickey Medlocke Wino lyrics © Duchess Music Corp., Get Loose Music, Inc.

On BBR Music Group and Stoney Creek Records, Platinum-selling band, Parmalee has released their anxiously awaited new album, For You. The 13-track project is already garnering critical acclaim with American Songwriter praising it as “authentically real, genuinely inspired,” Sounds Like Nashville predicting it to be the “next big move in their musical journey” and Billboard saying “Parmalee finds itself in the enviable position of being able to tap into multiple audiences.”
For You is the latest chapter in the southern hit-makers’ journey in expanding the boundaries of Country music. Produced by David Fanning, the album mixes a contemporary sound with classic ingredients and is filled with larger-than-life Pop hooks, southern storytelling, and the amplified attitude of Rock ‘n Roll. Primarily written by Parmalee lead singer Matt Thomas, For You draws from personal experiences to speak directly to the heart of their fans, honing in on that connection to make for their most harmonious project yet. "We feel most authentic and our best as a band when we feel like we’re having a conversation with the audience. That’s what we really narrowed in on for this album and leaned into what makes Parmalee sound like Parmalee,” said Matt Thomas “For You is an album for the fans — the ones who've supported us for years, and the new ones we're getting to know every day." Parmalee is showing their appreciation for the fans with a series of giveaways and surprises. Stay tuned into the band’s socials to join in on the action and participate in the pop-up festivities (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok). Laying the foundation for the album is the multi-national, Platinum-certified smash of a collaboration with TrailerTrap creator, Blanco Brown, "Just the Way." Having topped the charts in the US and Canada this year, the hit has garnered more than 300 million on-demand streams. Currently climbing through the Top 20 on Hot AC radio, the song mixes Parmalee's sharp songwriting and vocal harmonies with a modern message of self-love and individuality. The feel-good hit also spurred a recently released Pop version of the tune co-produced by Andrew Goldstein that features Pop/Hip Hop maverick Bryce Vine, in addition to an acoustic version that makes for an even sweeter serenade. Track Listing:
About Parmalee: 2016 ACM “New Vocal Duo/Group of the Year” nominee Parmalee is one of Country music’s most successful acts: the Platinum-selling band of brothers is one of only four groups since 2001 to earn three consecutive Top 10 singles from a debut Country album. Since their debut at Country radio, Parmalee has earned nearly 500 million on-demand streams. Heralded as “Country Music’s Breakout Stars” by MSN Entertainment, Parmalee has supported Brad Paisley and Jake Owen on national tours while finding time to perform on NBC’s TODAY show, The Late Late Show, FOX & Friends All American Summer Concert Series, MLB Central’s Studio 21, The Queen Latifah Show, and more. Comprised of brothers Matt and Scott Thomas (lead vocals/guitar and drums, respectively), cousin Barry Knox (bass), and life-long friend Josh McSwain, the North Carolina natives recently returned to the top of the charts with their PLATINUM-certified No. 1 single with Blanco Brown, “Just the Way,” which is currently Top 20 on Hot AC radio. Their new album For You is available now. For more information, visit: http://www.parmalee.com.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 28, 2021) - Timmy Brown does it again with an acoustic spin on his 2016 debut single “Lil Bit.” After a successful debut full-length album release earlier this year, Timmy is not slowing down and is still bringing new music to his strong fanbase. Listen to the song here!
This acoustic version slows down the originally upbeat song and gives it a more sentimental tone. With this new spin on his original, Timmy Brown proves that he still has more to offer with every release. The clever lyrics put a modern twist on a traditional country song. Timmy seems grateful for the small things in life and this acoustic version is the perfect sound for a slow summer night. “I thought it would be fun to bring back my first ever released song 'Lil' Bit' as an acoustic version, after releasing my first full-length album Good Life. It’s always been one of my favorites and most requested original songs at my shows. It was great revisiting the song in the studio after working hard on my sound over the last couple of years!” says Timmy. The reviews came in strong for the rising singer/songwriter's album Good Life. Renowned music critic Robert K. Oermann says "I think he has the goods." American Songwriter said the album "paints a truly authentic portrait of an emerging artist." About Timmy Brown Timmy Brown is a singer, songwriter, and recording artist from Norton, Massachusetts and is best known for his dedication to creating expressive and energized country music. Brown’s debut EP Leave This Town was released in April of 2016 and on April 18th of that year Timmy’s first single, titled “Lil Bit,” was released on iTunes where it reached the Top 100 charts in a matter of twenty-four hours. In the fall of 2017, Brown auditioned for Season One of the “American Idol” reboot on ABC and finished in the top sixty contestants. His infectious energy, talent, and enthusiasm have made him a local favorite throughout the New England area. In 2019, Brown was voted New England Country Music’s Local Male Artist of the Year for the fourth year in a row. Timmy Brown has opened for a number of popular artists including Dustin Lynch, Kane Brown, LANCO, and Lindsey Ell. Brown's latest album Good Life, produced by Josh Gleave, released in 2021 with a track-list of ten first-class, brand new songs. Track four from the album, “Play It By Beer”, will appear as the album’s single and accompanied by a new music video that will be released later this month. Also appearing on Good Life is “If You Were Here” dedicated to Brown’s beloved grandmother, who pushed Brown to pursue his dream of a music career. Brown’s dedication and love of music is evident when he is performing on stage. It is his devotion to the country genre and his natural ability to draw in and connect with his audience that has earned Brown such a loyal fan base.
