Galen Gering hospitalized

Galen Laius Gering is an American actor most known for his portrayal of characters on daytime soap operas. He currently plays the role of Rafe Hernandez on the long-running NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives. He also appeared on the NBC daytime soap opera Passions as Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald.

The actor posted a photo of himself last night. Rumor has it that he has fractured 3 ribs. Gering took to Instagram two days ago to share with his fans that he is hospitalized with 3 broken ribs! No word on how he injured himself but he had previously shared about helping a trucker who was stranded in the snow. Let's wish Galen a speedy recovery.

Get well soon! I've had a cracked rib but 3 is no joke! Good thing you tape months in advance!

I know all to well that things can change that alters your life. One day on 9/29/2019 I went to the gym and had horrible headaches and stomach pains so, I woke up th next day and didn’t know where I was. Only it wasn’t the next day but, 3 months later. I had a stroke and was in a coma for 3 months. I couldn’t move my left side. I had to relearn how to eat, smile, walk and use the bathroom all over again. The fun part as when the pandemic started weeks aftr I started physical therapy. So, I was basically living in the hospital bed for a year and a half. No showers or even going onto the patio.
